Refund & dispute policy

Last updated: 2026-08-13

Short version: cancel whenever you like and keep access until the period you paid for ends. We do not refund partial periods. If a charge was a mistake, tell us and we will fix it.

1. What you are paying for

TrueProps sells access to a software service: statistical projections, calibration reporting, and a record of how those projections resolved. You are paying for access to the tool for a period of time.

You are not paying for an outcome. We do not accept, place, broker, or settle wagers, we hold no customer funds, and nothing you buy here is a stake in any event.

2. Current status

TrueProps is in beta and no paid plans are being sold today — every account has full access at no charge. This policy is published in advance so the terms of sale are settled and readable before anyone is ever asked to pay. See the pricing page for what exists now and what is planned.

3. Refunds

Cancel anytime and keep access through the end of your paid period. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial periods or unused time. If you were charged in error, contact us within 30 days and we will make it right.

"Charged in error" is meant broadly and in your favour: a duplicate charge, a charge after you cancelled, a charge on the wrong plan, or a renewal you had no reasonable way to see coming. We would rather return the money than argue about it.

Cancelling is described in full on the cancellation policy page. It takes effect at once and never requires you to email or call anyone.

4. Refunds are never tied to results

We do not offer, and will not offer, a refund that depends on whether a projection turned out to be correct. This is deliberate and it is not a loophole in your favour or ours: a subscription whose price depends on the outcome of a sporting event stops being a subscription.

Model output is an estimate. Past performance does not predict future results, no outcome is certain, and nothing on this site is a promise that any projection will be right.

5. Payment disputes

If something looks wrong on your statement, email support@trueprops.app before opening a dispute with your bank. We answer billing mail first, and in almost every case a direct refund is faster than a card dispute for both of us.

You are of course free to dispute a charge with your card issuer instead — this policy does not limit your rights against your bank or under the law where you live. If you do open one, we will provide your billing record and the terms shown at checkout to the issuer.

Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

6. Price and plan changes

If we change the price of a plan you are on, we will tell you before it takes effect and you will have the chance to cancel first. A price change never applies retroactively to a period you already paid for.

7. Contact

Billing questions, refund requests, and anything you think this page gets wrong: support@trueprops.app.

This policy sits alongside the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. Where this page and the Terms describe the same thing differently, read them together and tell us — that is a drafting error on our side, not a trap.
